About Us

Blaine Davis & Rocky BeaudrySail Marco is an American Sailing Association (ASA) Gold Star certified sailing school. The "Learn to Sail" program at Sail Marco provides sailing instruction to novice and experienced sailors alike, and is dedicated to promoting the most rigorous, safety-first education and providing the best sailing instruction available.

Sail Marco is located on Marco Island, on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida, and was founded by long-time sailor Captain Blaine Davis (originally from Maine). The sailing school and sailing club complement his existing venture, "Kahuna Sea Excursions", which he has been operating, along with partner Rocky Beaudry, on Marco Island for the last 10 years.

Sail Marco employs ASA certified sailing instructors, and U. S. Coast Guard licensed Captains. Sail Marco uses the ASA curriculum and certification system and currently offers the following courses:
    Basic Keelboat Sailing
    Basic Coastal Cruising
    Bareboat Chartering
    Coastal Navigation
    Cruising Catamaran
