Captain Philippe See

Captain Philippe Sée began sailing as a child on Long Island Sound and the Normandy coast of France, and has worked in the marine industry since his first teenage job driving launches at Indian Harbor Yacht Club. A USCG-licensed captain since 1973, Philippe has sailed professionally in (and mostly between) Europe, North America, and the Caribbean for over thirty years, primarily on ocean racing multi-hulls, including his own 35ft Walter Greene-designed race trimaran "A Capella", accumulating over 150,000 coastal and ocean miles. Between races and deliveries, Phil has been busy as a builder/rigger with a number of well known custom boat shops in the U.S. and Europe, sailing/navigation instructor, marine surveyor, as well as a paramedic and firefighter.

U.S. Coast Guard 100-ton Master (power, sail, & commercial towing)
French Merchant Marine A and B
ASA certified instructor, Basic through Offshore Multi-hull
Maine and Florida certified EMT-Paramedic
